This meetup is for Chicagoland-based German Expats, Residents and Friends of Germany. Of course we also welcome those who'd like to join us for fun and German Gemuetlichkeit!
People of this group most likely love Chicago, but live or work in the suburbs. There are already meetups in the city, so let's start the meetup out here in suburbia and see what the group proposes for the next time.

Initial idea is to start this casual group to mingle with German and non-German friends who share the "German in America" experience, to celebrate and talk German, but also to help and discuss on typical new arrivals questions (where do I get good bread?, etc.).
