Feb 06 23 2006 7:00 PM	Fashingsparty Weiberfastnacht Costume's Optional 90 attended (est.) – 4.5027 Fasching, Karneval or Mardi Gras goes by different names depending on what region of Europe you come from but this festival traditionally begins the Thursday before the Catholic Holiday Ash Wednesday. In the German region of Koeln, the party usually starts off with a Thursday night ladies night called Weiberfastnacht (complete with costumes) and lasts all the way through the following Tuesday. We are celebrating this Weiberfastnacht in DEKK Lounge in Tribeca. Our group will meet downstairs in the Lounge, we will have the whole place to ourselves for a private party and have Spaten, Franziskaner Weissbier and Coors Light on tap for $5. We will charge a nominal $5 cover charge in order to provide some snacks. Costumes are optional, but cool or chic attire is recommended. And guys, save your favorite neckties for another evening... hier kommt Steffi mit schere. We are looking forward to all seeing you there. Es war sehr lustig und viele zeigten Interesse an einem weiteren Aben. So, hier sind wir also und haben eine KARAOKE Nacht. Hoffe viele von euch kommen und freu mich schon. Hey everybode, many of you know that Jenny arranged a karaoke night with some member's of the meetup before and it was a lot of fun. Here we are again and having another Karoake Night.
